Thankful Thursday, actually on a Thursday!

You know, I keep telling people at work that Jillian is a better baby now, but let's be honest, she still cries a whole lot. However, I am thankful this past week for the sweet moments she has actually let me hold and snuggle her. Of course, these moments are brief, because then she wants to be put down to sleep or falls asleep in my arms while nursing only to awaken 15-20 minutes later. But, I have enjoyed snuggling her and kissing her forehead and watching her suck on a pacifier that isn't there! She really is sweet.

I am thankful this week that I am actually going to go scrapbook on Saturday with the girls from work, a much needed getaway, and something I hardly ever get to do at home. I am all about pictures of the kids, and I love to put them in scrapbooks to mark the milestones. My mounding pile of photos, though, is one of the stressors in my life. If I could get a handle on them without just giving in, I would be a happy, happy girl.

I am thankful for the brief lag in chickenpox, but waiting for the next to get it. This week, everyone has been healthy. Thank goodness!

I am thankful for Aunt Nancy and Larry who are taking us to the circus on Sunday. It's a good time every year and the kids LOVE them to pieces.

I am thankful for the relationship that Kaylee and I have, and hopefully the one we will have as adults. I can talk with her about lots of things that you can't talk to most 8 year olds about. Just this week, I shared a story with her and witnessed, for the first, real and true compassion and sorrow. She is very special to me.

And lastly, I am thankful that Ryan is a very kind-hearted boy who cares about things. He is sensitive and can say he's sorry, something that SOME people I know have a hard time doing!!!
