It's Thursday!

As I think about what I'm thankful for this Thursday, I really cannot stress enough how grateful I am for my health. I have been thinking a lot about people in my life who are going through some hard times health-wise and I believe it takes a strong person to endure what some of my friends/loved ones are going through. I'm not sure I would be strong enough not to sink into a deep depression.

With that said, I am thankful that my Uncle Mike, Lizzie's dad, is doing well and the surgery went well. Hopefully, I will get to see him at work later today. Ryan always likes to draw Uncle Mike pictures when he's been in the hospital in the past. I haven't told Ryan yet that Mike is there b/c I have been working, but maybe I can hook Uncle Mike up with a new picture soon! I am also thankful that Larry got good news at the doctor's last week. I'm thankful that my kids love him so. He's a good guy! I have confidence that everything will turn out fine with Larry.

I am loving this beautiful day and the fact that all the kids are sleeping right now, so for that, I am thankful. I am getting my post and some laundry done. I just wish I could spend some more time outside, but that will come when I stop working so much!

I have, as I mentioned in my last post, been SUPER thankful for Ron, who deserves his props this Thursday, for helping so much with things around here. It is very un-Ron-like, but, honey, if you keep it up, I MAY just keep praising you in the blog!!

I am very thankful that Ron got a job on the marine patrol, did I mention Ron is going to be on the marine patrol??? This makes him very happy to get out of that jail and out on the water. He loves the water, and sadly, had to give up his boat and jetski after we had kids. I have not seen him this happy in a long time. And, he even started helping out around the house BEFORE he got this news! I think he might be happier about the new postion than he was on our wedding day and all five of our kids birth days! I'm happy for him!

Kim,
It sounds like you have the most WONDERFUL Husband. I wish all Husbands were like yours. Is he for Hire? Maybe he can teach Husbandry 101.

By the way, did he tell you he is on the Marine Patrol????

Love,
Your Husband Ron
