Updates

Kaylee and Ryan are off school ANOTHER day today. These are pictures of what they did the last snow day, which was go on a hunt for Kaylee's lost earring back. They were supersleuths in their mismatched pj's and Kaylee in Bampa Tom's hat! Today, everyone is finally healthy, except for me. But no big deal, just maybe an ear infection and pinkeye! Hopefully, none of the kids get pinkeye, because we've had our share of that!

Kaylee starts gymnastics tonight. I am curious to see how this goes! Ryan just got signed up for Spring soccer. Kara claims she wants to play soccer now, but I can just see it. Her out there with her jewelry, Hello Kitty boots and pink sequin purse getting kicked once in the shin and it's all over. She's a girlie girl.

Lizzie is in the hospital trying not to have that baby until her doctor gets back from vacation (she has been having blood pressure problems). Ryan is just glad it's a boy! So, hopefully, she isn't too bored in the hospital. Liz has been on bedrest for a while now.

We are going to the circus this month, thanks to Renee, the Great! I had accidentally signed up to work. And, Renee is right, if I can't keep track of my life, how is SHE supposed to!!! I am the most disorganized organized person I know!

Jillian continues on her record quest for most cat naps taken in a 24 hour period. I have never seen anything like it. Literally, she sleeps for 20-30 minutes at a time, gets up, eats, plays for half a second, gets cranky, I fight with her for the next 20 minutes and she is back to the swing for another cat nap of 20-30 minutes. I would think I have to blame this one on the breastfeeding, which I hate to do. She feeds about every 2 hours during the day. I had been saying growth spurt, but it's been a while. Now, she is quite the tiny thing, so maybe if she puts on some weight, things will change.

And, Caden, he's just hanging out. He says "Wuv you" now....how sweet. I did drop him on his head yesterday. At the cake store, you know, the one where they sell the Dora castle cake and the 3D pirate ship cake each for a minimal amount of $65.00, and he threw a tantrum. So, imagine me, trying to carry the infant carrier, Caden in one arm (sideways), and making sure Kara doesn't run off into the street. Needless to say, I was losing grip of Caden and finally had to put him down while we were still four cars away from our van. He lays down on the sidewalk, and I scoop him up only for him to pitch forward in his kicking and screaming rage, and his head hit the cement. This has happened to me before, so I am not panicked, just ready to get home! He's fine, no brain damage, today anyway!
