Things I KNOW but have to remind myself of

1. That the kids aren't going to remember how clean the house was, but how much time I spend with them-GET OVER IT!

2. Anything I get extra done in a day, next to taking care of the kids and myself, and giving the kids some interaction, is a HUGE accomplishment and I should be thankful, not stressing about what I DIDN'T get done.

3. That I went to school to have a career and that going to work is not a bad thing for the kids. They interact with their Dad and get some needed time away from me, as well as me from them. And as a big bonus, I am providing for them too. I love my job and shouldn't feel guilty being away from my kids.

4. That I am part of my Dad and he is still with me no matter what, that he is part of the children also. That he would be proud of Ron and I for raising our kids the way we do.

5. That I am a good judge of character and to trust my instincts....if it doesn't seem right, it probably isn't....
