Belated Thankful Thursday

I am so late with the Thankful Thursday post, but in my defense, I have been running around crazy the last two days during the day and then to work both Thursday and Friday night.

I am thankful for the wonderful women I work with including but not limited to: Rebekah G. who is a million months pregnant and STILL works her butt off, Kim S., Jillian, Amanda, Susan A., Cindy R., Joyce A., Jeanne, Belinda, and since it's before 8am, I am going to say there are many more, but I can't list any more names due to my fatigue. I am telling you, these are the best nurses! They make going to work fun and when we are super busy and can't talk to one another, they are right there helping you out and NOT being lazy, like a lot of people can be. Work dodgers, I call them. I am fortunate that I work with a lot of hard-working women. I love you guys!

I am thankful that today Ryan is looking out for his little sister Kara, whom he usually doesn't get along with, by reminding everyone that it is Kara's birthday and to be nice! I think they actually do love each other. I am very thankful for this and that they seem to stick together. Yesterday, Kaylee had to get up on stage in front of the whole school and announce a poem that she wrote that her class was going to act out. I asked Ryan how she did and he replied "Good, I gave her a thumbs up!" Kaylee did see him out in the sea of students giving her the thumbs up, and I am thankful for the love and special bond between Kaylee and Ryan.

I am thankful that Ron took those hideous eyeglasses back and got a much more fashionable pair! We won't discuss what the first pair looked like, but if anyone knows Ron, I'm sure you can imagine! However, he did pick out the second pair by himself and they look much more natural for him.

I am thankful for all the donations I am receiving for Erika's marathon run in May. People are very generous.

I am thankful that no one else in the family got chickenpox after Kaylee. Kaylee did say that the girls at school wouldn't play with her for a few days when she went back, but I explained to her that the girls were used to her not being there for a few days and it was probably just that, and I HOPE it was just that. It's just chickenpox, people, get over it! Some people treat it like it's an epidemic!

Until next time.....
