OOTMOB: May Edition
Background: One day at his soccer game I dropped Ryan off and told him to go stand by "the white tent" while I parked the van. After I parked the van, a million miles away, I came back to a missing Ryan, who was found, crying in a corner of the park. He couldn't find the "white tent" and started heading toward the BLUE awnings of the building we were near. He was very distraught and crying/hyperventilating, scared, etc. So, the following conversation takes place a week or so later between Kaylee and Ryan:
Ryan after coming home from soccer practice: Mom, I have a game at the Park on Sat at 11:15.
Kaylee in her sing songy sarcastic tone, as if to drudge up the memory on purpose: Yeah Ryan, look for the white tent!
Kara: If you don't like something, like your car or something, you can't just be like (sing songy) "do de do de dooooo, I don't like this, I think I'll sell it".
Caden (potty training, if that's what you want to call it): You can't touch my butt!!
Kara says to me at the grocery store, in the cart, after I walked away for a minute and came back, in a LOUD voice w/ tons of people around: Hey! You're NOT my mom!!!
