Thankful Thursday

So, after reading a friend's blog about my Thankful Thursday posts, I realized I hadn't done one for quite some time....here goes, I am thankful:

That Kaylee got home safely from Florida and that she has a good friend like Samantha and her family that would even consider taking her there. Thus, I am thankful that Kaylee has the loving, caring, respectful personality that makes her appealing to friends.

That even though I SO want to sleep in every morning, I get to wake up to five beautiful children that Ron and I have raised to be great kids (so far!). That I don't wake up to an empty house, which is REALLY something to be grateful for as some women who have fertility issues can most certainly attest to.

That my kids have their siblings to play with, I am overly thankful for this!

That my good friend, Kim, invited me to a girl's day tomorrow, that happens to be just what I need, since it will be on the anniversary of my Dad's death.

That I am not obsessing this year about my Dad's death, but thinking about how lucky I am that there was someone there for me in the best way he knew how, someone who didn't abandon us as kids, because he easily could have.

And of course, that everyone in my circle, kids, husband, right down to my friends and acquaintances, are all healthy and safe. I can't stress the thankfulness I feel for that. In the grand scheme of things, this is probably the most important of all.
