School!

The elder monkeys made their way back into the jungle, I mean school, today. Kaylee is in third grade and Ryan is in first. Can you say WOO HOO, WOO HOO!!!!!????? Ah yes, the peace and quiet around the house when it is just Kara, Caden and Jillian. No fighting, no whining (most of the time), no begging for snacks....good times. However, I do dread the running to and fro, which will come to a head when Kara starts her second year of preschool in September. And, add to this the constant influx of other people's children (A.K.A. school friends of the monkeys), and it balances out the hectic-ness of summer when they're all home all day long!
In other news, Ron has been on vacation (contributing to my lack of posts.....hey, I'll blame that on anything!!) Also, we got two kitties from a litter that my Aunt and Uncle had in their garage! They are the cutest things ever and the kids love them! Just adding to the chaos...It IS getting near Jillybean's first birthday and for those that know me well, (or maybe you can figure out) you know that I ALWAYS get "the itch" around the last babies one year birthday!
