The Shift From Hell

Ok, I mean it this time. This was the shift from Hell! I need to get to bed but I just got home and have to blog about this before I do. I went to work at 3 today and started the shift out horrible w/ two very swollen girls who couldn't pee (I work in OB if you didn't know). Hence, I spent the first 3 hours making ice packs, hanging IV's, catheterizing, and cleaning up large amounts of lochia (vaginal blood). Then I get a call from Ron. Kaylee had gone up to the lake w/ her cousins....a glass light fell on her while there, and she may need stitches. She is an hour away. So, my Aunt Nancy and cousin Gretchen brought her up to work, where I spent an hour in the ER with Kaylee, while someone else had to watch my problem patients. I am exhausted.....pictures of the stitches and story to follow.....
On the upside, Ron got me and ipod shuffle!
