Happy birthday to my Dad, who would have been 58 today. One of the last birthdays I celebrated with him was his 50th. He wasn't the kind of person to have enjoyed a big party for such an event. But, I did decorate his house with black balloons and streamers and made him pose for a picture, which I would never put on here because he was so frail due to the chemo. I can't remember what I did for his last birthday with us, his 51st. I had stopped viewing every holiday/birthday as his last that year because I had been living like that the whole year before. I got to the point where I half didn't believe he would die. I regret that. I wish I had a ton more pictures and video. This picture was taken Christmas Day 1998 when he was still rather healthy (that we knew of). This was the year he re-did my old dollhouse. I'll have to post about that towards Christmas!
