Summer Break Monkey Update

I can't believe how much more work it is when the two older ones are home. And, they are the good, not-so-needy, ones. Or so I thought. It seems that all I do all day long is feed them and clean up after them. Ryan has an insatiable appetite lately, which I have been told is normal for his age. He is like the Very Hungry Caterpillar. For lunch today, he had one piece of salami, one banana, one container of yogurt and two helpings of triscuits, plus juice and then was STILL hungry. The days of half a sandwich and a few crackers are gone.....forever, I fear.
Anyway, the monkeys have been spending their time in the pool, and this morning they made sheet forts and read books underneath them, even Caden. They are cute, but nonetheless, loud, needy, and whiny. I took them all to the Kids Club the other day and I DID apologize to the lady, but she still couldn't wipe the eyes wide open look off her face. I should just get used to it, but it's not like we're hideous looking or anything. Sometimes I wonder that this is what it must feel like to have some kind of prejudice thrown at you. The staring, etc.
And, the most exciting update: Jillian actually slept from 0130 hours to 0745 hours!!!
